Collaboration with compassionate partners amplifies our impact and creates lasting change in the lives of those reintegrating into society.
Advocacy
We have partnered with Carlyle Holder Ministries to ensure our returning citizens always have a voice, experience opportunities for restoration, and are treated with grace. This ministry’s mission is to improve the world through compassion. They partner with organizations to meet the fundamental needs of returning citizens. In addition, they strive to fulfill the national and global missional opportunities that affect this community.

We have established a collaboration with the Virgin Islands Equestrian Equine Therapy Project, Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides returning citizens with training in horse care and equine therapy. The goals of the program are two-fold. The first is to provide job skills to returning citizens. These new job skills provide new and increased wage-earning opportunities upon release. The second is to provide equine-assisted therapy to improve the mental health of returning citizens not in the program, as well as improve the relational health of those being trained by experiencing the love relationship that blossoms as they care for these magnificent creatures.

We’ve joined forces with Hapi Homes for our Tiny House Project. This initiative will provide valuable trade skills training within the correctional facility to returning citizens including assembly and installation of these homes from start to finish. This initiative will also address the housing needs of citizens in the territory by providing affordable housing. This initiative equips returning citizens to transition into society with a roof over their heads and with valuable skills that can provide new opportunities for a better future.

VR Trade Skill Training
We have partnered with Promising People who believes that everyone deserves a second chance at life. Promising People allows returning citizens to transition into a career that is in demand regardless of their circumstances. Their program uses Virtual Reality to teach valuable job skills needed to effectively participate in the Tiny Homes Project as well as prepare them to find meaningful employment upon release.
